open your eyesit's not hard to find beauty --  or would you rather hide  behind insecure lies  fabricated by shaking palms  that whisper in the wind?  i heard you're running thin;  or rather, i witnessed it  but not in the passing glances  we were so damn comfortable with.  was it really worth these chances  that we took; so quick, you jumped  and i fell without issue.  now push comes to shove,  and what the fuck IS love, anyway?  when all has been said & done,  all i can hear is the sound  of your feelings running in circles.  at least i have my feet on the ground.   open your eyes
